I’ve gone a bit photo happy with this post!!
This is my take on layering.
I’ve noticed that layering seems to be ‘in’ in the scrapping world at the moment. I need to buy Ronda’s book to read up and get inspired.
I don’t usually follow trends – I completely missed the whole Kraft obsession – but this one I want to try.
It’s very sparkly!
I’ve used quite a few scraps that were just lying around. The note paper I used to clean up some inks I’d been playing with.
I stamped some dragonflies on the velum and dusted over them with mica powder.
The label with circles came off of a cardigan I bought.
The dragonfly is inked around the edges and triple dipped in embossing powder. I then splodged some ink on and mixed it as I went to create a purpley blend.
The wavy strips were off cuts from some signs a made a few years back (yes I keep things for that long!) I coloured one in with promarkers and inked with a pearly white ink pad and left the other white.
I used some little Tim Holtz paper clips, some button brads, some crafty ribbon buttons, and assorted paper flowers.I’d tried to heat emboss one just to see what would happen - not sure if I like it or not.
Fabulous layout Laura,I love all the layers and I think the flowers look perfect.....
