These two necklaces are made with Rebecca Weddell lamp work beads. If you’ve never watched lampworking before you’re missing out. Basically you have a torch flame, rods of glass and a mandrel (which forms the hole of the bead). You melt the glass in the flame on to the mandrel. Maybe it’s the child in me but I think it’s like magic! J
The orange and purple combo is very me because it’s a bit wacky and out of the ordinary. I combined the beads with Swarovski crystals.
I finished the back of the necklace with a little drop of crystals which look great from behind if you have your hair up (or short hair!)
The second one is a bit subtle for me, it does have bright colours but in small doses. I normally go for lots of bright colours in big doses! I combined them with clear iridescent seed beads and just strung them on some tiger tail. Simples.
